Red Sox Vs. BravesWe head south to Atlanta for some good old southern hospitality. This bustling city is not a true tourist destination, however there is enough to keep one busy for a week-end. Underground Atlanta is the place to be after the ball game where people go to dine and play. There are dozens of restaurants and eight night clubs that are open late. For day time activities there is the World of Coke Cola, CNN, Turner Broadcasting, Centennial Olympic Park, home of the 1996 Olympic Games. The section of Buckhead offers a number of clubs and eateries. A true baseball fan arrives at Turner Field early to visit The Braves Hall of Fame featuring over 600 artifacts of the Braves from Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta. Monument Grove features statutes of Warren Spahn, Ed Matthews, Hank Aaron, Phil Niekro and Dale Murphy.
Our departure is on Friday morning with a non-stop flight on Air Tran. Arriving in Atlanta, transfers to The Hilton Atlanta Hotel located in the heart of Atlanta and with-in walking distance of the major attractions is via the MARTA Light Rail. We offer a unlimited visitors pass for your entire stay. It is the only way to get around Atlanta, including transportation from the hotel to Turner Field for your ball games. We offer two games [ Friday and Saturday ] with an option for game three on Sunday afternoon. Our return to Boston departs early evening with a non-stop flight on Air Tran.
Game ticket for Friday's game and the optional game for Sunday are located in section 220R, behind third base and the Red Sox Dug Out. Saturday tickets are located in the Club Pavilion with amenities that allow access into the Club Level, but also features unlimited "ALL YOU CAN EAT" smoked chicken and BBQ sandwiches, chicken wraps, hot dogs, coke, water and all the draft beer you can handle.
